WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We guarantee the integrity of the stone mountings and workmanship, as well as certifying that all emeralds sold are natural Colombian emeralds. A certificate of authenticity is provided with every purchase. Any returns or repairs can be handled through the USA Customer Service Center, with U.S. addresses and phone numbers listed on your invoice.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
Perhaps running counter to local custom, you will find Mister Emerald's prices quite firm. The advantage of this is that by not having to negotiate a long time for our final price you can easily use our jewelry prices as a benchmark.
LOCAL TAXES AND REBATES
Local sales tax is 19%, and you can arrange for full refund of this tax at the airport before you leave the country. The refund is only permitted for foreign visitors. It is important to have your passport or driver's license available at the time of purchase so that we may help by filling out the paperwork that you need to present.
DO I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS DUTIES/TARIFF WHEN ENTERING THE US?
Emeralds and emeralds set in gold and silver are completey duty-exempt entering the United States. They have preferred treatment under the bilateral comprehensive free trade agreement know officially as the United States-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement of 2012. Jewelry is listed as "Gold (or silver) jewelry with precious stones".

CAN YOU SHIP OVERSEAS?
If you wish to buy items remote, please be aware that it is a bit more complicated than what you are accustomed to with your online shopping. Carriers such as Fedex, UPS, and the national post office, will not accept fine jewelry for shipment overseas. So we must arrange to have a trusted person hand-carry your piece to the United States for mailing to wherever you live. This is entirely doable, it is just a bit slower than what is usual in online shopping. We encourage you to contact us with the numbers of the inventory items that interest you; we can describe the piece(s) more fully, and make payment and shipping arrangements for your purchase.
